Each month an open house is held to give each home buyer and prospective home buyer the opportunity to meet the entire team, from management to sales, design, construction and office support staff, third-party inspectors and preferred lenders. We believe that direct contact with those you have entrusted to build your home is key to providing a good experience...like having a home builder in the family.

Dave MatlockDave Matlock
President

Prior to starting TriStone Homes I spent over 15 years in the home building industry, serving as Division President for two of the largest national home builders in San Antonio. In creating TriStone Homes I have the ability to live the lifelong dream of establishing an organization that is in synch with my core values of treating others as I wish to be treated and building a quality product to which I’m proud to attach my name.

My passion has always been to help people achieve their dream of home ownership. I am thoroughly enjoying my capacity to closely interact with our homeowners on a very personal basis.  I respect the fact that a person has the confidence to trust TriStone Homes to build their home.  We acknowledge this trust and treat every home buyer as individuals to better understand their needs and desires to ensure the finished product and experience not only meets, but exceeds their expectations.  As we say, when you buy a home from TriStone we treat you like family.

San Antonio is my home.  My wife Lora and I have four beautiful daughters, a son-in-law and one darling granddaughter. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting and I am a CPA.  Our roots run deep here and I’m proud to have a positive impact on the lives of those who have the dream of home ownership in San Antonio.

Jay McJunkinJay McJunkin
Vice President - Construction & Customer Service

My many years of residential construction experience have given me the long-view of the industry and life in general.  In a cyclical industry I’ve come to realize that change is not the most important constant.  Rather, what is most important is that our core philosophy is in synch with what we do for a living.  While working for much larger regional and national companies the focus devolved to throughput rather than what should be most important – the customer experience.  At TriStone we strive on a daily basis to keep our customers at the center of the process and take the trust they have placed in us to heart.  It’s the little things like our “Meet The Builder Night” each month, and referring to all of our home buyers by their name and not the address.  It makes the whole process more human.  I know without a doubt that the quality of the homes we build is unsurpassed.  More importantly however, is that the quality of the experience we provide to our home buyers is also unsurpassed.  When your actions are based on your core beliefs it becomes easy to do the right thing.

I’m a proud veteran of the United States Army and proud father of nine children.  My wife Tracy and I love San Antonio and are happy to call it home.

Nancy CampbellNancy Campbell
Vice President - Sales

I began my career as a Sales Professional for one of the top national home builders. There, my passion for the new home building industry was ignited by firsthand experience sharing the excitement and joy with families as they achieved the “American Dream.” Quickly transitioning from one of the top sales agents in San Antonio, to developing and managing an off-site Houston sales center that produced over $42 million in annual revenue, my enthusiastic commitment continued to soar.

Through the creation and presentation of my educational seminars on The Home Buying Basics, I have helped hundreds of families prepare for, and attain, the dream of home ownership. Today, that dream is even more of a reality with the affordability and value of Tristone Homes. Every single day I listen to the Voice of the Customer as I work with my team to brainstorm new programs that will make a difference where it means the most – at the heart of the lives of the people we touch. Tristone Homes’ customer-centric approach to home building is aligned with my value system and allows me to make such a difference on an on-going basis.

My business career began as an operations management specialist in the Retail Convenience Store Industry where I served in various capacities, including Director of Gasoline Sales, Marketing and Distribution. I have called Texas home since graduating from Chicago’s Loyola University with a Business degree in 1981. I am deeply devoted to my daughters, Misty Jo and Jennifer, and to my entertaining granddaughter, Alexis Lee.

Tony Di GiosiaTony Di Giosia
Vice President - Marketing & Product Development

From the time I was a small boy I had an innate sense of aesthetics, form and function.  I have fond memories of “house shopping” with my parents and noticing architectural details and the practical “livability” of a home.  In high school I found a way to channel this interest through architectural drafting, and from that moment on I knew my calling involved residential design and construction.  My first career opportunity as a residential designer was for a company that eventually became the largest private home builder in the United States and a benchmark for others to emulate.  The knowledge and experience I gathered there made me eager to continue learning even more about the industry.  From there I went to work as an independent residential designer before accepting a position with a design firm to establish a division that focused on developing plans for production home builders. The next step in my journey led me to work for what became the largest public home builder in the U.S.  Each step of my journey has brought me new skills and insight, and I continue to view each day as an opportunity to learn more about the industry I love.  At the root of my passion, and what soothes my soul, is seeing an idea come to fruition in the form of someone’s home.  This is particularly true of first-time home buyers – seeing the pride they feel in achieving the dream of home ownership and imagining the many memories they will make in a product that I helped create.

I hold a B.A.A.S. degree in Applied Arts and Sciences from Texas State University. I’ve been blessed to have traveled and lived abroad but have always considered San Antonio my home.  My wife, Ellen and I have two young kids who bring joy and excitement to our lives on a daily basis and enrich our lives by allowing us to see the world through their eyes.

Felix FloresFelix Flores
Director of Purchasing and Estimating

I am responsible for contract negotiations, bid management, pricing input, and running Purchasing and Estimating reports through the BRIX system. Additionally, I manage the permitting and starts process as well as the purchase order and field purchase order generation. Most importantly I am responsible for providing accurate job costs to the Division President. I have over sixteen years of experience in the homebuilding industry. Prior to joining TriStone Homes, I worked for large regional and national home builders in Laredo, McAllen, and San Antonio where I honed my Purchasing and Estimating skills. I have a passion for the homebuilding business that started at a young age as most of my immediate family is involved in the industry. I enjoy the challenge of taking a new series of plans from concept to final costs. I enjoy working as a team member and using my "can do" attitude to motivate myself and others to finish projects on time at the lowest possible cost.

I was born in Laredo, Texas. My lovely wife, Brenda and I are the proud parents of our beautiful daughter Yuridia. I am proud to be the first person in my immediate family to graduate from High School and achieve an Associates Degree from Laredo Community College.
